NOTE: I DO NOT ENDORSE VIOLENCE OF ANY KIND AGAINST ANYONE EXCEPT IN SELF DEFENSE, AND THEN ONLY THE MINIMUM NECESSARY TO STOP THE ATTACK.
PEOPLE HAVE THE NATURAL RIGHT IN MY BOOK TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AND BEAR ARMS OF ANY KIND OR SIZE FOR THAT PURPOSE.
The way to resist government or society is to refuse to participate, rather than to get violent. Getting violent is a cop-out and just breeds more violence, and karma. That does not preclude self defense, however.

Radical Left Wing
The Coming Insurrection - find out what the radical left thinks. They think society is rotten and that they can create a Marxist-anarchist paradise after the crash. They're itching to riot. However the anarchists who helped topple Czarist Russia with rioting were rounded up and slaughtered after by the Commies they helped to put in place, and I wouldn't expect anything different this time either. This manifesto has the government of France very worried (it came from France).
Cloward and Piven - Obama is busy pushing the "Strategy of Orchestrated Crisis" of these two Columbia University radical leftists who believed the best way to overthrow capitalism was to overwhelm it with demands on its social services and structure. This article exposes not only this but the radical leftist roots of a number of other people connected to Obama, and the absence of people of any other ilk.
Apparently Obama was in the CIA directing supplies to the Taliban in Pakistan, when he was supposed to be at Columbia University. Nobody at Columbia knew him, and he doesn't appear on any rosters, invitation lists, or employment records there. - See here . Moreover, his father, mother, grandmother and stepfather were all involved with the CIA. See here. And here. This may somewhat explain the birth certificate problem.
Hilary Clinton's PhD Thesis on Saul Alinsky. Another Communist type.
Atlas Shrugged - This dystopian Ayn Rand novel from the 1950's reads like the current playbook of the liberals. Someone made a movie out of the first part of the book. John Galt's manifesto is at the end of the book. This book is so common, just get it from the library. Essentially, those who produce wealth (industrialists, engineers, etc.) drop out of society, which has become a giant welfare state. There is also a seagoing pirate in the story. The producers end up in a place called Galt's Gulch. The main character is the female head of a railroad company. All the things that the liberals/welfare state people do in this book, they're doing now.
Agorism - This is an anarcho-libertarian economic theory espousing the use of peaceful black and gray free market activity to make available to the people the tools of resistance to thwart a coercive government that they see as criminal. (Criminal, i.e. taxation = theft, war = mass murder, etc.). Also see here.
Hey! The mainstream media is sidelining and ignoring Ron Paul EVEN THOUGH he wiped up the Iowa straw poll. He came in second but over 200 votes went mysteriously missing. So he might have even come in first. But the network news and Fox are all pretending he doesn't exist. See this video. I mean, WTF?!?!?!
Ron Paul is the ONLY politician telling the unvarnished truth about the mess our economy is in. And he is the first politician to openly admit to the existence of the FEMA detainment camps. Mainstream media sucks.

http://thomas.loc.gov/home/thomas.php This is the US Library of Congress, and you can look up bills that are or have been before the House or Senate, and read them.
http://www.congress.org/ This website says it's a nonpartisan group that has articles about Congress, and software with forms where you can write to your elected officials, and tips on how to become more effectively involved in civic matters.
You can look up anyone here and find out if they gave campaign donations and to what political party.
Groups to Support If You Like Freedom
Oath Keepers - these guys are currently first responders (cops, firemen, military) who swear not to violate the Constitution. Actually that is supposed to be the oath they take in the first place, but these guys reaffirm it. They refuse specifically to participate in disarming the public, unwarranted search and seizure, herding anyone into detainment camps, or seven other things.
